'Remember the Dead: Fight for the Living' in North West

Manchester event

Preston event

2 .3 million people are killed worldwide by work each year and up 50,000 in the UK. Families of those killed, Hazards Campaigners and Unions worldwide this year are calling for "Good Occupational Health for all workers". see

Families Against Corporate Killers see www.fack.org.uk

Every year more people are killed at work than in wars. Most don't die of mystery ailments, or in tragic "accidents". They die because an employer decided their safety just wasn't that important a priority. 1, 600 -1,700 people die each year in UK in work-related incidents and up to 50,000 die from work related diseases. The country should remember them on this day, as they do in other countries and by doing so reduce this slaughter.
